Butterfly Eyes - Photogram
This design was created as a digital negative and printed using Man Ray's Photogram technique of cameraless photography. It is inspired by Magritte's "The False Mirror" and surrealist art.
Burger Bounce - Scanogram
This work is inspired by surrealism. I wanted to create something focused on the idea of jumping on a trampoline, and nothing looks more bouncy than a burger bun.
Skating on Dollar - Scanogram / Say Yes - Scanogram
Leaves, Flowers, and Butterflies - Lumen Prints
These prints were made using natural objects and printed on light-sensitive paper using the sun.
These works were featured in the "Gimme Shelter" Digital Exhibition at the SP/N Gallery in Spring 2020. View the gallery here.
Chlorophyll Prints
Chlorophyll printing is a method of cameraless photography that uses leaves and sunlight to print images.
Cyanotypes
Cyanotypes are a form of cameraless photography that involves placing objects or photo negatives on light-sensitive chemically-treated paper and exposing them to sunlight. The reaction between the paper and the sunlight gives them their signature cyan coloring and leaves areas where the paper was unexposed white.
Corrupted Natural Prints
These prints were created by using natural objects (oranges and flowers) as stamps, scanning the prints, and digitally altering the scans to produce a glitched effect.
